Today (April 13, 2025) My Dad got tricked by AI because it said that today was Seven-Eleven’s bring your own cup day. My family was so excited, and we all got giant thermoses to get a lot of slurpy but when we got to Seven- Eleven, we were told it was not today.  We were disappointed, but we ended up getting Slurpee’s anyway just not in our cups.

AI’s hallucinations are concerning because with many parts of life being assisted by AI its hallucinations may cause bigger problems than a slightly disappointing trip to Seven- Eleven. Some concerns about AI hallucination are because some of the hallucinations are -based off the information put into is training it can reinforce bias and stereotypes.
